ok guys i just finished the flashes i posted about this morning and here a pictures as promised please excuse the focus i am not sure whats going on with my cam.

i picked out my fabric and started to work on the embroidery.

then trimed it down to sized needed

then i pressed the sides where i wanted the folds to be

then sewed the edges and top

    http://s59.photobucket.com/albums/g3...etpart1016.jpg

and added fray check to the ends

and finally the finshed project i didnt sew them together so they can be adjusted
and now i am hooked so there will be plenty more to come with all kinds of designs.
sorry about the links i am not sure how to post pictures on here .

They look nice. Did the elastic straps have velcr or were they adjustable with a buckle?

one constructive suggestion. When I wear my hose and flashes, I fold my socks down at least 2-3". Only about the bottom 1 - 1 1/2" of my flashes show. I think with yours, none of the embroidery would show

    Those are really wonderful.
You don't see much embroidery of that quality these days.
    Well done.
