It's her parent's house, my first time going. Best I can tell you is that you take the interstate out of Greenville heading south west and go just a bit.
Hey Dread, you still run the cafes? I ran the Smokeys over Christmas. Wished I was on my bike rather than in my Xterra at the time. Those corners are rather sharp.

    I only wish. I don't have a bike.

If MacWage has the top down, I'd better wear a wrap over my head. Otherwise, by the time we get there, I'll look like Medusa with epileptic serpents.

My preferred route from the GSP area is to take 26 up to 40, then take 40 west to exit 28, which puts you on 74 west. You follow that to exit 81 which puts you on 441 south to Franklin. It looks longer on the map but it takes far less time because it is open highway all the way.

However, the scenic route is great if you have the time to take a leisurely mountain drive and want to see the sights!

For those that may be further south in SC, the SC State Museum in Columbia, will be hosting a Tartan Day festival on the 14th as well.
    I plan on attending.

I hope you don't get called that day, but if you do please wear a kilt!!

I may make it after all. I'll just go in a few hours early and clock out at 2:00. Save some snacks for me!

Bring the kilt you just made please... If I may, I'd like to see it.

    Thanks.

    Small snag!!!!

I was just told that daycare will be CLOSED that day (Good Friday).
If I come, I'll have to bring the kids. I don't know if they would like to ride for that long (age 2 and 4), then "hand out" and ride home.
I could do it Sat. definately (though there won't be anything special at the museum . . .

I'll have to update as I try to figure things out . . .
