Isn't that a normal spring for da yoopers?

I recall an August many years ago, My brother was at KI Saywer AFB and I was in Minneapolis and decided to go visit.

I left at 85F wearing a tank-top and shorts. I got to 45F and froze my butt off.

Of course I woke up this morning with a -5 degree windchill, so who am I to talk . . .

Well, I sat at US Cellular Field yesterday in 30 F for three pluss hours watching the White Sox. I've never actually been to a MLB game where it was snowing before.

...and before you ask...no, I was not kilted...sorry.

Normal for us, yes. The weird thing is that it's been the most usual part of winter we've had. Of course, one of the hallmarks of UP weather is unpredictability, but that doesn't make me like the wind any more!

The wind is still blowing hard. The one good thing is that it's blown off the 3' drifts that were piled up in the middle of the driveway. There's a 5' drift up against the side of the house now, but that's no big deal.

I lived just outside KI Sawyer when I was younger, still live fairly close to it.

Ahhh, yes...we've got it downstate, too! And I had recently promised a priest from India that it wouldn't snow in April...OOPS!

You guys aren't alone. We've had a few days with temps up to 68F (20C) here, and I've ridden my Harley to work 3 times so far this spring. However, right now it's about 28F outside with snow.

We've had a crapload of snow over the past month. It will warm up, melt, tease us into thinking it's actually spring, then dump another load of snow. GRRRRR!
