    Happy Easter

Today, I decided to wear my Tartan to the Easter service. It was well received all around, and those that have seen me wear it to church before, are beginning to be comfortable with it. I only had one person ask me why I would wear it, to which I replied "what better way to honor the ressurection of our Lord and Savior"? This puzzled him by the look on his face and he said..."no, I ment that it was cold out". Isin't it wonderful? My Church members are no longer concerned about my kilt, but over my well being in the cold.

    Happy Easter everyone.

    Christ is Risen!

We may have had a record number of kilts at our Pascha service last night/today - I'm counting 7 off the top of my head.

I hope you have a glorious Pascha (Easter)!

I have had the same reaction. "arn't you cold" This is not only a church but most every where I go when the weather is cold. I tell them "no but thank you for your concern"

I wore my highland kit today as well, for my Episcopal church's Easter vigil at 5:00 a.m. and our main service at 9:30 (see picture here: http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/s...d.php?t=26462). My outfit was also well-received. I even wore my Anglican Church of Canada lapel pin, and as someone said to me: "It's Easter: all our loyalties should be on display today!" Several people asked me to pose for pictures after the service, and I was only too happy to oblige.
