Pure Dead Brilliant. If you don't mind the overland journey and want to see a bit of Scotland along the way, there are often considerable savings to be gained by going via Prestwick, compared to flying direct to the more modern but much busier and more expensive Glasgow Airport. The train goes via the Garnock Valley while the bus takes the shorter upland route over Fenwick Moor giving you a choice of scenery between Prestwick and Glasgow. It was nice to see some pics of old haunts such as Sauchiehall Street on the forum here, but its unusual to see it so quiet.
