I am very confused here. I don't know if there is anger, sarcasm, or actual friendly banter going on here.

Would somebody mind clearing up a bit of this confusion?

Admiration of Steve and his enthusiasm to helping a DIYer on making something based on his own design.

There is absolutely no anger in my posts.

Bobbie is always telling me that if I put out all the information on how I make a Freedom Kilt, someone will steal it and become my competition.

I feel that the information that I have publicly posted here and on my web site is just that, public information. It's nothing that someone with a little initiative and intelligence couldn't figure out for themselves.

And yet I get at least three e-mails or phone calls a week from some guy wanting the easy way to make a kilt. So I tell him. "Buy Barbs book. Read it all the way through, three times. Now you know how a kilt is made. If you want to change something get out your calculator, engage your brain, and figure it out." That's how I did it.

I will eventually publish "The Art of Contemporary Kiltmaking" and all will be revealed. Till then it would be nice if people at least asked. I don't mind telling them. Heck, I'm a teacher by nature. I want others to join us in this world we call kilts. And I understand some can't afford a Freedom Kilt, and others would just prefer to do it themselves.

So hey, the information is free. And "Anything free is worth what you pay for it." RAH.
