Albannach at Furman University
Well since no one else has commented on this I guess I will. Myself, DreadBelly, Dreads Wife, Brandycr, and Her daughter were all at the Albannach concert at Furman university last night. As from my point of view it was the most stirring show that I have ever been to. The guys and Gal from that group do an excelent job of getting the crowd in to the music and the performance. This group will be one of the ones that I will be sure to see if they come around here agian, pay or free. I am sorry for all those that could not make it you missed a good time.

I wanted to comment, but I seem to comment first on most of our outings. Wanted to give somebody else a chance to adore that new thread smell.
It was an awesome show.

They can tend to get a crowd on their feet and dancing, can't they?
I wish I'd known earlier you were planning to be there, I'd have given you a message to deliver to Jacquie.

Honestly I hadn't planned to go until about 4:30 PM. Oh well next time. I understand they will be in Greenville agian for the Highland games at Furman on the 9th of June. I could get a message to them then. You'll just need to remind me.

They are great! Saw them at the Gatlinburg Games last year and had the good fortune to be staying in the same motel as them. Got to chat with them and pass on Mike's hello. Great band and a great bunch of people.

i saw them a week ago in Raleigh NC at the Ren Faire. I've seen 'em a few times before. As always it was an awesome show (except i wanted to throttle the sound guy, not surprised though; that Ren Faire has always been lacking). they will be back in Raleigh on the 19th (at Tir Na Nog pub) and at the Loch Norman Highland Games on the weekend after.

I saw them at Loch Norman this year. It is a great show.
I heard them at Gatlinburg last year but didn't get to watch. I was competing, but their sounds tends to carry just a wee bit
