Kilted to an Indian Wedding.
We were invited to a Wedding Reception from some Indian {East} friends of ours. It was the culmination of the Wedding Ceremony that lasted 2 WEEKS! The actual wedding lasted 2 days. We were the only Anglo's to receive a personal invitation. The others received a group invitation from the Grooms Mother to her co-workers. My wife work with her as well. There was an open bar, and a long table of Hors' D'oerves, and lots of beautiful women in gorgeous dresses! Then Dinner, presentation of the Bride and Groom and the cutting of the cake, and dancing! Yes, I danced. Sort of.
The Bride and Groom, Aparna and Virage.

Sorry, You can't see the Nightstalker under the table. I received many, many compliments on the kilt. Seems most of the people present have been to Scotland. There was one Lovely young lass from London that was really impressed with the Kilt and the way I looked.{actually you can just glimpse the kilt under my Prince Charlie.}

Great pictures what a colourful lot you are, and is that a smile I see on your face, it must have been a wonderful celebration, thanks for sharing it with us, I am not sure if I will ever experience anything like that.
