Hot. Brutally hot. Vietnam-in-bad-movies hot. Met a couple of Brewers sporting Matt Newsome box pleated kilts (father and his son), met Joseph Croft of the Celtic Croft and saw the braveheart tartan offered by same, talked about Graham's kilt of the braveheart. Good time. But hot. Did I mention it was hot?

Well, you know, the sun was out, there weren't too many clouds out. Mostly it was hot. Really hot.

Hot!
It was pretty warm alright, sunny, humid and temps in the upper 80's. In Houston that is a nice spring day, we'll have "hot" (90-100 degrees) in a few weeks! I think the biggest problem was that there was almost no breeze, so even sitting under the covered areas was quite warm. I'm glad that my USA kilts are washable, cause I sweated though one each day! The guys running around in their hefty wool kilts (that most likely only wear a couple times a year anyway) were really sweating it!
