Great cover photo Barb - I love the colors of the tartans - are you still thinking of the photo of your daughter and her fella walking away from the camera for the back?

Yes, I'm going to use one of them on the back cover.
And, no, the book isn't close to being done. I have to marry off a daughter first!! The cover photo is done now because the kilt on the cover is the one that my husband will wear to the wedding, and I had to photograph it partly constructed for the cover. So, now I can finish it and cross that off my to-do list for the wedding.

Beautiful colors in that tartan! I'm sort of glad that it will still be a while before the new edition comes out, now that I have a copy of the old one-I want to try my hand at "real" kilt making with the old book and then again with the new one. Marry that daughter off!
Be well,

I usually do not buy a book by its cover, but I think that I would make an exception. Nice.
Of course I would buy the book any way.

It a Personal Security Detail tartan that Jay designed for all the PSD guys. It looks great. Dig through the photo section and you'll see quite a few of Jay's pics of the kilt. His blog from his time in Iraq is a good read as well.
