i guess it is possible this is a re-sale of a returned product and I'm not really worried
about it as you an only see it if the apron his completely horizontal.
(parallel to the ground)
does the shine get removed when the Kilt is washed?
The shine is from ironing without a cloth of some kind between the iron and the kilt, hopefully it's not that bad, I really dont think you will get the shine out but you can try.

On the card I got with a Stillwater it says:
Our Acrillic can be machine-washed (gentle) and hang dried, wool kilts need to be dry-cleaned.
For the best temprature why not email Jerry at Stillwater.
I hope to see your new kilt next friday.
One last thing if I were you I would listen to Steve the kilt looks like its a wee bit low, try hiking it up a bit, and if you can try to get some coloured kilt socks either the lovat green or black would look good with it.

tried a black shirt with my Kilt today and black socks,
seems I'm putting my Kilt on with the right hip sitting a little higher than the left.
i need a bigger mirror. and new shirts... and new socks...lmao.
lord my shirts look bad, and the poopy out of shape upper body doesn't help.
(i look grumpy because i thought something was goofing up with my camera)
