    For the record, you can still get any length and a beer gut cut option. Assuming it ever gets back in stock.

    Unfortunately for me, I suspect the larger sizes will be the last to arrive. Ah well, I had always planned for plaid one to be my next one anyway. Although I am looking at the fine options with FK and USA. ;-)}

    I am so very pleased with the fit and form of my UK's. I wear them as intended, by design. The way Steve builds them to be worn. My hips are nearly the narrow type, so it is imperative that I wear a belt to keep my kilt on. I'm confident that the snaps will hold my UK closed and frequently forget the belt. However, that's only on the couple that I got one size smaller. They fit snugly. Not supposed to be fitted snugly. I could wear suspenders. Although, I think that would be most challenging.
    The business model I suppose is over my head since I'm in Seattle.
    Go, have fun, don't work at, make it fun! Kilt them, for they know not, what they wear. Where am I now?

    Generally, I've been disappointed with UK. Since they have gotten bigger they have been unwilling to come to the Spokane Highland Games. I've called a number of time and gotten all sorts of promises and no action. Although I'm currently wearing a UK, I'll not buy another one from them.

    I was looking to buy a Utilikilt, but I've been told that the waist isn't adjustable at all now and I fluctuate an inch or two throughout the year.

    I own seven UKs. I bought the first one six or seven years ago. I've lost over 20 pounds and several inches around the waist. I just cinch up my (new) belts tighter and my UKs still all fit.

    I digress and confess: I think Renegade Kilts look great and are of fine quality. In fact, because of this thread I visited their website again and loved what I saw. I just e-mailed them for some details and was looking in my "Next Kilt Fund" account, ready to buy one.

    But then I noticed they participate on a forum whose terms of agreement I find terribly repulsive and exclusionary.

    There are many reasons to buy from someone, and I guess there are even more reasons not to want to sell to someone. They seem to be actively rejecting my business, so I won't be buying a kilt from them.

    Edit: I realize it is unfair of me to comment when I have not yet brought the subject up with the folks at Renegade. Sorry to be so hot-headed.

    I wish Steve and the good folks at Utilikilt good luck in spreading their fine kilts to more storefronts. I hope they can keep up production. I love my UK Mocker and always wanted to get a UK Workman's. But I have decided that I want something both a little more unique and to try and support the fine folks who support our site. I think a Freedom Kilt or Union kilt will be next up on my Kilt fund goal.

    Cheers

    I will soon have one and will post a review. I have held, examined, and worn one and found them to be well-made and comfortable. Alan even cuts out the pleats to make the waist fit better and more comfortably.

    I have 2 Utilikilts and I enjoy wearing them. However, I enjoy wearing my tartan the most. Utilikilts serve their purpose.

    By the way, I would like to see what the Renegade kilts look like. Does anyone have a link to their website?
