Things I learned in Vegas
-Trying to find a redheaded woman at a Highland games/Celtic fest is like trying to find a white-haired lady in a retirement community.
-People have little trouble finding youif you are wearing a Irish National tartan even if you are hiding in a clan tent~! (Jerry, at SWK sure has a bright one!!! lots and lots of comments)
-Al Gingles can put a Las Vegas cab driver to shame!===("I am a professional driver" It doesn't say you can't U-turn)
-Cocktail girls flock around the kilted guys (my wife complained bitterly, that she was only, regularly, offered drinks when she was near me...Me, on the other hand...)
-Turpin's sporrans are things of beauty...as displayed proudly by MrBill!
-Clan tents are wonderful places to taste Scotch. I think I inbibed in 24 or 29 different ones. Somehow, I lost count in the process...by the by, there was one named Sca** which I can't remember the whole name, that was just incredible, just as smooth as mother's milk, but not in as cute a container.
-You don't have to expose your "chests" at the Rio to get beads thrown at you.
-Those Highland "heavy" athletes can really toss "it" and that includes the caber and other stuff.
-"what happens in Vegas....ends up on the internet!"
-Kilties, in general, and XMarkers, in particular, are fantastic folks and welcome you with open arms into their groups and families, and I am happy to amongst them.
My thanks to Al Sporrano for being our taxi one day and to all the others we met and saw for making a most enjoyable holiday.

It was our pleasure to meet you and to be able to drive you and Millie around a bit. Thanks again for the tickets to the games.
We had a great time, and the games were fantastic. We managed to miss everyone at Henessey's on Saturday night, though. We got too caught up in the moment and ended up getting free tickets to a comedy/music show at Fitzgerald's.

I would hate for someone who has found a tasty whisky to not be able to find it for home use :-)

Sorry I didn't get a chance to meet you in Vegas. If you were at the Tilted Kilt on Friday night, I couldn't have missed you by more than an hour.
We had a great time in Vegas and met some outstanding folks. I'm hoping to post a review and pics later.
