Going on a date with a younger woman

That is awesome. As a Girl Scout leader, I know how much these dances mean to the girls. For a lot of them, it's their first 'date' ever- they get all dressed up in fancy clothes, ask someone to go to a dance, and hopefully you'll get a photo taken at the dance to share! (At a lot of them, they have a photographer.)

Get her a pretty corsage and yourself a matching boutinierre - never can spoil those younger women too much, says I. *wink wink*

How cool to buy a new kilt for the event too.

Boy, does it ever bode well for the future of the new kilt revolution that ladies that age are attracted to kilts. In ten years she'll be insisting her dates wear kilts.

Actually Shay, this is her third one of these. At the first one she took her Uncle, and the second she took her grandfather. We've been joking that she's going to get a reputation for always having a different man.

Cool- I had an idea if you're game- if she gets a plain white dress, the can wear her tartan (in handy silk scarf form) as a nice sash, too.
