DFW Rabble -- impromptu kilt night?
Any of the DFW Rabble available tonight for an impromptu kilt night?
Maybe around 8:30 PM at Trinity Hall? Or maybe tomorrow night?

I don't think I can make it tonight.
Did anyone see my post in regards to having a Fort Worth Tartan night this next month?

Don't Forget...
Also happening this weekend if you care to wear your kilts out....
A friend who goes to Highland Park United Methodist Church here on the SMU campus let us know about this upcoming Scottish event. Don't know anything else about it and unfortunately the link doesn't give more information than what's below other than to mention "Scottish and Irish Dancing" (probably Highland and step dancers),

Speaking of other local events . . .
I heard about this on the classical radio station (WRR):
Let All the World in Every Corner Sing!
Celebrate the triumph of Christ's redemptive work with Vaughan Williams Five Mystical Songs, musical selections from around the world, and congregational singing on Sunday, April 29, 7:00 pm, in the Sanctuary. The concert features the adult, childrens and youth choirs of Park Cities Presbyterian Church with bagpiper Don Shannon, baritone Robert Holden, mezzo Cheryl Bugg, soprano Jenni Till Rasberry, soprano Kyonghee Kim, and symphony orchestra. Admission is free. Childcare is provided for newborns-kindergarten with reservation by Thursday, April 26, at 214-706-2797.
======================================
I'm not completely sure of my weekend commitments . . . I may try to attend this if I can . . . I usually like Vaughan Williams' music.

Well, it IS your birthday weekend after all, so I say do whatever you feel like doing!
Perhaps you would be interested in Scottish Country Dancing with the Fort Worth group tomorrow (Friday)?

:crap: ! I missed these posts. The last two days have been busy. for sure mkm! I hope you did something special. We should definately do something to celebrate. I am contemplating attending the picnic today, so that might be fun. As for anything else, just give me fair warning and I'll see what I can do.
Later!

Ok, I REALLY need to be checkin' the boards more frequently. 'specially since I'm new to the whole DFW area. Down here for work for the summer. Now, in a week or so, I should be rather busy...but for now, my evenings are pretty slow. Which is a bad thing for me. 'Cause I luv to explore new cities and meet folks. Well...ok...I like to find good pubs where I can smoke my pipe, meet neat people, and narrowly avoid lots of trouble..er....rouse some rabble...err...have fun.
So, yeah. interested in any nites out. Grynn!!!
