    Proud kilted daddies.

A number of us went to go watch the fabulous “Wicked Tinkers”. Here is Aaron Shaw marching through the crowd wearing the Isle of Skye tartan with matching green and purple argyle hose, a purple shirt, and brown leather accessories. The fact that I noticed this when he first stepped onstage is proof that I have been on this forum far too much. But as you can see, it was a great outfit!

Here is Keith Jones ( A MacNaughton) who also played through the crowd .

He stopped in front of Thomsec’s son and handed him his drumsticks. This young man can now boast that he jammed with the Wicked Tinkers!

Here is one small humorous tale I shall relate:

I was walking along when I saw a gentleman with long silver hair wearing a Loud Mcleod tartan kilt. He had on a wonderful matching kilt outfit with one small problem. It was on backwards! I followed him trying to wind up the nerve to tell him this. I finally had gotten close enough and said loudly “Excuse me sir!” when one of the heads of the Mcleod clan tent came rushing past me to whisper in his ear. The fellow stopped in his tracks and looked at him. “Really?” he answered and started looking at everyone else’s kilts. The two hurried off to fix the gentleman’s attire. It’s good to know the kilted look after each other.

There was good music, good competition, good beer, good food, good friends, and it was a grand day!

I’m sure there are more pictures and tales to come from the rest of the Nor Cal Rabble

    Cheers
