No pants day!

Just read online calender (not here)and apparently the United States actually celebrates first friday in may as No Pants Day.Just gives you guys another reason to wear a kilt on Friday lol.Who would of thought?

I was all into it, too, until I read this little nugget on the No Pants Day site FAQ:

"So I can wear a skirt instead? or “Hey, no problem, I was gonna wear a dress anyways!”
You’re very clever, but you’re missing the point. Articles of clothing like skirts, shorts, kilts, and dresses don’t count [emphasis mine], because people are encouraged to revel in the absence of pants, and not replace pants with other clothing. The point is to relax and enjoy the humor inherent in people not wearing pants. A good rule of thumb is to pretend like you were going to wear pants, and then just fail to put them on.That being said, it’s a holiday. No one owns it… not even us. Wear whatever you want. Throw a kilt party. Be the Santa Claus to our Nativity. Be our guest."

Okay, I guess "Didn't you know it's No Pants Day?" is still a good answer to "what's with the kilt?" or even "the question."

yeah but if you read peoples posts it says your also encouraged to wear anything but pants and a kilt isnt pants .

I can appreciate the humor of this, but truthfully, this event is more about the sexual side and the "shock value" of not wearing pants. I'll leave this to those craving attention and don't seem to have any better way of getting it than to drop trow.
