Thanks for showing the pics; nice kilt; but the drawback of the mirror photo is that the fringe and kilt pin appear as if on the lady's side.

I do have a tripod and if I get my camera manual out I might just manage to work out how to use the self-timer. Watch this space!

Actually I thought the third shot was rather "arty".
I too had fear of the self timer on my camera (until way2fractious showed me how to use in in about 5 seconds )
