    Sorry the first pic should be taged as - this is where I think it should be sitting above the knee.

    I think that they are at an exceptable height at the knee and it doesn't appear too high at the waist. A kilt can come to mid knee without the kilt police handing out notice of infractions. And if they do just boot 'em in the sporran.

    Looking at the pictures the length looks fine (though I would split the difference between pic #1 and pic #2). I think putting on your belt and sporran is going to make a big difference in how it looks on you.

    Agreed. In the last pic, you're trying to wear it like pants. Kilts should be worn higher.
