Bring Your Kilts And Wear Them Proud
Wednesday JUNE 6TH @ 7PM ---- DATE CHANGE FROM ORIGINAL POST!!!
A new monthly Wednesday night feature starting very soon will be "Kilt Night At The Tipp."
We are currrently recruiting members for the "Tipp Inn Kilt Club" that will meet the FIRST Wednesday night of EVERY month! Some fun events will take place during the night which will include contests such as best legs and best Kilt worn. Prizes will be given out on some nights.
The night will be a Kilt wearing frenzy and we hope to acquire some "Kilt experts" and vendors to take part in this unique event at the Tipp Inn Main Bar every first Wednesday of the month.
Feel free to contact us through this thread if you want to sign up and be a part of this new and exclusive club only available at The Tipp! We hope to also add some special discounts for Kilt Club members

As I live in Houston - Making a weekly gathering in Dallas is not likely. However, I will be in town June 3rd for the Texas Scottish Festival in Arlington that weekend. If we end up staying in town Sunday night the wife and I may just have to swing by and say Howdy.

Likewise, Dallas is a little far from Snellville, Georgia. But I do get out there a couple of times a year on business. I may just have to arrange an early month trip and pack the kilt along!
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

I like that.. "a Kilted Frenzy".
For the XMarkers who plan to come to the Texas SF&HG, please stop by the Scottish Country Dancers tent (always located next to Clan McPhereson tent!) and say 'howdy'!
Someone from this group will probably be around and would like to put face with the name!

Shine up your mirrored shoes Red, you're gonna need a drool bucket.

Well then, maybe we should just re-name it now to "Rowdy's Favorite Day of the Month!" or "Rowdy's Dream-Come-True" or "Ogle-rama"...on that note, why not "Kiltapalooza"?
(I am glad you all recognize my extreme appreciation of all you gents in kilts! And boy, do I appreciate ya'll!)
My new by-line should read, "RowdyRed: always alert for the man in the 'skirt"!

This should be a good time. It will be interesting to see if we can get a regular crowd of kilties occasionally. Tipperary Inn is a great place, so I approve! Though, Red now has a monthly droolfest
See you Wednesday!
Oh, and did he say "discount"? Now I definately approve!
Edit: I need more sleep...
