I got my first generic Macdonald tartan kilt as a SportKilt, but didn't wear it much since it was the basic gathered style in one length (too long for me). That's a funny tartan...I too thought it wouldn't go with much. But then I got a semi-trad in it from Rocky and found it goes with a LOT of colors...white, black, khaki, maroon/claret etc. Here's a pick with the khaki

Here's the Cladish. I'm wearing it to work today with a light blue hemp dress shirt from Duluth Manufacturing and light blue Lewis kilt hose with brown belt, sporran, and Z Coils.

But hey Ron Paul. I'm thinkin' it don't matter much with you since you are so obviously hooked on the freedom and the fashion that you're gonna be buying a lot more kilts.
So cool to see you enjoy the ride.
And hey, that size adjustment for the first kilt is pretty common first time ordering on line from any kiltmaker...been that way for me no matter how well I thought I followed the directions. But, now that Rocky has a size to work from the next should fit perfect.
And, as Turpin said, there are more pics in my gallery if that helps any.
