Baby Powder, Gold Bond, Etc???

i've been happy with Gold Bond powder for our hot-humid summers. but wow, all the rave reviews of Body Glide makes me want to try some right now. i should be able to find it easily, there are 3 R.E.I. stores around me.

I think Body Glide may be the thing. I recall from my days in bringing up the babies that we were told absolutely do not to use talcum on the babies, that it was simply bad for their little skin.

Any pediatricians or family medicine physicians out there (or anyone else who actually knows)?

our pediatrician said to avoid its use on babies because the dust from it can get into their lung and cause problems (especially because when it is applied the baby is usually lying down). he said if it wasn't for that, it would be fine to use.
