I see no problem at all with it.

I feel that it is a very good place for the insignia to be.

I think it looks great, and it is quite fitting to pair it up with the US Army Tartan. I am sure you will look great sporting the outfit.

It looks good on the sporran. My only comment is that the emblem is the Commissioned Officer's Cap Badge. I don't know if this would be an issue or not.

I don't see anything wrong with it at all. I did the same thing with a casual sporran.

The sporran looks great. Many sporrans have clan crests, so your badge should pose no problem.

Knowing your trade, and appeal for function, I believe a photo of the inside is in order, as I'm sure you have designed this sporran's interior well too.

It's certainly not inappropriate, and a fine looking sporran to boot.

It is my first cut at a dress sporran, so it actually did not turn out as I would have liked. I will build another soon. There is a pocket on the inside for a wallet and a small flask. but the rest is open.
The Crest actually came from a key chain a renlistment NCO gave me.
It was the worst design for a key chain, all those points and things getting keys caught in them, in your pocket. So it is not an actual part of a Uniform.
No AR 670-1 violations here. I will look at What Alexis Malcomb has to offer. to.

Definitely NOT offensive...it is very well done and is a beautiful tribute!

I have a clan crest sporran with the Gordon badge (Bydand!) in that same location.

    No problem at all.
