The only bamboo fabric that I have seen was very soft and lightweight (read shirt weight). It is supposed to be a quickly renewable fiber. I also saw at the same time a cotton seaweed fabric that was so soft and light it was like heaven. Also the seaweed fabric was very expensive at $30 per yard.
