    Hello from New York's capital district

    Hi folks. My name is Jay and I'm a custom boatbuilder living just outside of Albany, NY. I just discovered this board a few days ago while looking for kilt accessories. I've been wearing a kilt since my wedding almost eight years ago. Generally I only wear my kilt for special (read fancy dress up) occasions, highland games and ren faires. Currently I wear a 9yd knife pleated heavy weight wee kilt and a 5yd belted plaid depending on where I'm going. I'd really like to get a 4yd box pleated med. weight kilt and start wearing my kilts more often. Maybe this board will give me just the right amount of incentive. Anyway, this forum looks like a great resource.
