GOOD DAY ALL, Well I off to court in the morning, no not that, I must report for jury duty. I thinking my SWK Leatherneck with a simple short sleeve short. Hey the summons said to "dress comfortably" and we all know one cannot be any more comfortable than in a kilt and still be "dressed". THANKS AND GOOD DAY Wes

Good luck Wes, whatever the outcome you want. Me, I would hate to get stuck with one of those long trails.

Sort of. People who appear unpredictable are often struck. Those potential jurors who are perceived to be extremist in the direction an attorney would like are precious jewels. But then often the other side would strike him or her, if possible.

Good luck with it, I think th Leatherneck will do nicely and if you get someone like Ron's boss you'll be home early.

I have sat on 3 trials. It really makes you think when you hear about someone being accused of a wrong doing.

I second Dirk's statement. I once had to do grand jury (every tuesday...all day, for a month). It was very interesting and, although a huge pain in the butt, very well worth it. It also makes you appreciate our system of government a whole lot more. Much better than a dictatorship or monarchy. THIS IS NOT AN ATTEMPT TO SOUND POLITICAL!
Anyway, do tell what they say about the kilt afterward. I'll bet you'll have some interesting conversations!
