    More Kilts on ScotlandonTV

www.scotlandontv.tv has started a new regular strand called 'Scotland FAQ' where we set out to answer all those questions about Scotland & being Scottish that we're often asked. One of our first answers concerns the correct form of traditional Scottish Highland Dress - starting with the shoes. To view this feature, click on to http://www.scotlandontv.tv/?channel=...id=1380_SMG683 We'll be featuring more of these in the coming weeks, so keep an eye out.

We've also recently added a 'Scotland FAQ' on Scottish Country Dancing which, of course, features our instructor in a kilt. You can find that here http://www.scotlandontv.tv/?channel=...id=1380_SMG684

Enjoy - and, if any xmarksthescot member has a question about Scotland they would like answered, do let us know.

    New Videos

    Hi all.

Two more Highland Dress items have been uploaded to the site.

The waistcoat, jacket and tie are covered in this video: http://www.scotlandontv.tv/?channel=...id=1380_SMG697

And we complete the outfit with the sporran, sgian dubh and kilt pin here:
    http://www.scotlandontv.tv/?channel=...id=1380_SMG724

Phil from Slanj in Glasgow was incredibly helpful in making these features.

    We hope you enjoy them,

    The Scotland on TV Team

PS In response to the technical issue - we're not aware of any recent server problems. We upload 12 different versions in 3 formats (Flash, Windows Media & Real Media), so changing your viewing setting using the 'settings' icon below the player screen should hopefully solve the problem. Hope that works!

    Thanks,

It's working fine now. Incidentally, how's about some shows regarding the great B&B's around scotland?

I have heard that there's a particularly fun one in Dumfries called Ferintosh B&B or some such name ;-)...It's kilt friendly and run by an eccentric gentleman with an academic past of some sort.

    One for the ladies

We decided that we couldn't leave out the ladies when it comes to kilt-wearing, so visited Glasgow's Slanj to kit out our reporter, Flora Munro, in a couple of very modern mini-kilts.

Click here to view the item: http://www.scotlandontv.tv/?channel=...id=1380_SMG756

    Enjoy!
