    And excellent color coordination!

With your height the regular sport coat doesn't look that bad with the kilt.

Richard, Congratulations on your 1st kilt. That's a very nice casual look. I'm a bit surprised that a kilt 24" in length would fit so well on a man 6'9". In fact, it appears you could wear that kilt a bit higher on the waist.

To me you very natural in your kilt. As though you wear it reagularly.
It looks to me as thought you might be wearing black boots .
    I think they are sharp.
But I have been meaning to ask others on the forum about this wearing of black boots with ones kilt. And if this is kinda not so OK as a kilt wearer.
I am planning to wear my old jump boots with my kilt. With the correct socks .
So Richard if you or any one else might have some thoughts about this .
I would kinda like to know.
I didnot intend to hijack your thread . I just saw your pix and your foot wear reminded me of this question I have been kicking around to myself.

About the foot wear. What I think is that they are ok to wear since I have seen a couple of scots man wearing them ^^. I know this will sound cliche but many tv episodes also show "casual" scot man wearing the same type of shoes
