I saw the posts about the great kilt / Belted Plaid and I thought you might like to see a photo of my friend Micheal O'Brien a traditional bookbinder in Oamaru's historic area ( located in the South Island of New Zealand ) who wears a belted plaid everyday ( yes that's right everyday ) . As he runs his own business he can wear whatever he likes so he wears the belted Plaid to work. There are quite a few kilt wearers in Oamaru so if you ever make it to Middle Earth check it out.
