Memorial day weekend

GOOD DAY ALL, Just a quick note about the holiday weeken. First, on Sunday took my mom up to the national cemetary at Leavenworth, KS to visit my dad's grave. The people in charge of that place do one heck of a job in caring for the grounds and any visitors. Heres me at the grave in my standard Leatherneck from SWK.
On Monday went over to the National World War I Museum in KC Mo. same kilt. Boy it made me feel really great that the place was pack! Everywhere there was moms and dads showing thier kids around, teenagers that were asking questions about various things, old men, passing along tales that they got from thier dads and granddads. The history was getting passed along and the Vets were honorered.
