I just noticed that somehow I managed to pop the bottom inch of thread on one of the pleats over my right hip on my new Loud MacLeod.

Guess I caught it on something or moved wrong since the top straps are on the three hole and its easy to step into.

Just looked it over, decided I could fix it. Pinned the pleat in place then hand sewed the inch of seam. Funny, the bottom thread from Rocky's seam was still in place. So maybe I cut the original thread on something.

Anyway...point is, even for a guy like me (I sew, I bleed) a repair can be easy.

Wore the Loud MacLeod last night to our local Relay for Life to help with our agency's Mardi Gras theme and the hand sewn repair held up just fine.

After a couple of P.M.'s I sent my kilt back off to Rocky and Kelly.
I just got it back today, they added a couple of angled pleats and what a difference! Its like a new kilt, hangs well and has more swish. The angled pleats got rid of the "binding".

If you want great and I mean great service they are the folks,
Thanks Rocky, it fits wonderfully now.

That's awesome. Not only did they fix it for you, but your original post was on 05/30/2007, and you've sent it away, and got it back to your liking in less than 2 weeks. Now that's some great customer service!

I have the same problem with almost all my kilts at the moment, but that's because I put on some pounds during the bed rest.
