After Scotland - York! #4
The nave of York Minster.

One of the large stained glass windows in the Minster. Some of it is old and worn so detail can be lacking.

Another large window.

An angel wearing armour guards the entrance to one of the chapels. The chapel here commemorates the fallen of the WW1 as can be seen from the names of the battles.

The ceiling of the Chapter House. Although a cathedral is the seat of a bishop (or an Archbishop in the case of York) they do not administer the building which is in the hands of the Dean and Chapter.

Some of the Chapter House windows.

Just a couple of the seeming hundreds of corbel carvings in the Chapter House.

More to come!
