    As Clergy, I would say, that in ths day & age, if they want the whole shebang, give 'em the whole shebang! It's a great time of celebration, so 'Dressing up' is always appropriate if it will add to the joy of the occasion. Am sure the purists will give you 'absolution' for breaking the rules a bit.

    The only problem is that I am somewhat of a purist myself, and was leaning towards the tweed Argyle and semi dress sporran with my antler handle sgian dubh, white shirt and a tie. I just wanted to know what others thought given the "finest highland dress" comment.
