the guy is a good photographer... i clicked to some of his other photo essays and found this picture at Portugal's Silves Festival, the essay is called "Back to Moorish Times"



it is interesting to see other cultures who share roots with the celtic ones.

I remember seeing the photographer. It's actually a woman. I remember her because she was in full hijab. A little surprising at a Highland Games event but not odd in Victoria.

Because Bobbie and I know the person flashing and because he happens to be wearing a Freedom Kilt, Bobbie e-mailed the photographer and asked her to remove the photo as being in bad taste. The response back was that she didn't have control over them because they were posted on the magazines' site and she just works for them.
Not a satisfactory answer to me. I just hope they are not being used by Iranian.com as an example of uncouth western men.
After reading a couple of other articles on the site I'm afraid that is exactly how that photo will be taken though.

And by the way, I was never ask for my permission to use a photo of me, so I suspect he was never asked either.

Perhaps haukehaien you could remove the link or ask for this thread to be deleted. I don't think we need this kind of thing here.

Sorry fellows, I removed the links from your posts. It's a shame that so many nice images could be spoiled by such poor judgment in displaying one. Should you discover the offending image has been removed from that site, feel free to re-post the link. Until then -
