Well, had planned on going to Flagstaff for Pride in the Pines this weekend but now my lady may have to stay at Hopi and be on call...

Its a trek for me but maybe could afford gas, motel, et.al....

I'm confused about the Thanksgiving Point place...website makes it look like a huge motel or an amusement park rather than a regular park...is it gonna cost money to get in it, then more money to get in the games?

Seems an unusual arrangement....?

I wasn't sure I'll could make it, but I will be there this Saturday.
Ron, it cost $10 to get on the grounds and that's it. It's not an amusement park....think fairground. It's next to a big nursery/tourist shop. It's pretty big and probably worth your trip if you can make it. They normally have some sheep dog demo's, British cars, a highland "coo" or two, lots of vendors and of course....haggis!
I'll be in my Ireland's National looking for ya'll.
I'll be sure to stop by the Clan MacGillivray tent.

I'm driving to Utah Friday, returning to California Sunday, for a quick visit to see my brand-new fourth grandchild. Likely not, but maaaybeee, a pit stop at Thanksgiving Point Saturday afternoon. No way to tell.
