That pirate sporran is by someone I know on another forum (a pirate one).
In my sporran, wallet, keys, phone, what not . . .

Well, considering the fact that I have been looking for a roomier sporran, and I do have a certain fondness for pirates, being a punk rocker and all, I might order a custom one from them, made exactly as I want it... All black, with a simple Jack Rackham (skull and crossed sabres) on the flap... Could be just my style...

Let's see ...
Skull and cutlasses - okay
Celtic horses - a standard; hadn't seen quite that way before; better
Celtic hounds - same as above
Celtic women in celtic mini-dresses - different (not bad, but different)
Fish - hadn't seen that one before; nice design but not the colors I would have gone with
Obligatory pirate skeleton - eh
Crossed sabers under a rabbit skull ... okay, someone's got a sense of humor

The animal skull is based on the ensign of a pirate forum member.
It is supposed to be a dog skull, as I recall and related to a on-line pirate role playing group called "The Watch Dog."
I have designed several ensigns, including one on a tartan field and one on a blue field with 2 HUGE bones forming a saltaire and a period (early 1700s) skull.
Now, back to topic . . .

All the ones I've seen are Vikings, not pirates.
I like the zoomorphic celtic ones, though I'm not sure if I'd buy one or not.

Thread start ought be more aptly named "What's in yer Pirate Sporran?"
Go, have fun, don't work at, make it fun! Kilt them, for they know not, what they wear. Where am I now?

Well...it was really just to show the pirate sporran pix, 'cause I thought they were cool. Now, if I could find a Klingon Sporran...THAT would be interesting.
What I find interesting is that in the pix where y'all are showing whats inside, NOBODY has any "spirits" in there sporran.
