Likewise Bob, we would certainly enjoy having you and the rest of the proud New Yorkers join up with us at the Devil's Canyon Brewery. Jeepers what a night! I wonder how late (or early) the DCB stays open...

It's awesome how ofter you guys get together. One of the things I miss about California is the number of highland games events there are. The pics are great, I especially like the picture of the Loud Mcleod family. You guys look great. Panache, who made your Loud Mcleod kilt?
Edit: Panache, I found your Semi-Traditonal Model USA Kilt Review thread.

Next time I'm out there, hopefully there will be time to meet the gang.
I tend to spend most of my time up in Sacto (Home), but try to enjoy the Bay Area as much as I can.

Well, I've been asked to set up a medical station at the Trans March in San Francisco on the 29th.
It's inspiring to me how this marginalized group of people have come together and used every form of media from a television series and talk show appearances, live theater and dance performances, blogs, websites, and live and recorded music to get their message out.
In a very short time, they've elevated their status from being freaks of nature, to greater social acceptance and understanding, to legal protections, to having employers pay for their medical and surgical treatments.
I'm honored to be asked to participate, even in such a small way, in their history-making efforts to change hearts and minds.
Maybe I'll catch you folks next month.
