    Most man made fibres can be very dangerous in that they melt rather than burn. Natural fibres are much better. Having said that pm RKIlts and he'll make you a good man-made matrial that is very fire-resistant. Yo can get a lovely Nomex-Kevlar in a saffron...

    That's what I need, a NOMEX Kilt to go with the meltable uniforms that the army gave me. My IBA will protect my vital organs, My ACH will protect my Noggin and a nomex kilt will protect those other vital regions. I'm going to send that off to the Army uniform board as the next combat uniform.
