    a semi-dress sporran

    hey everyone!
    i'm new to the site and i thought that i would share some images of a semi-dress sporran i have been working on for a few days.

    i'm working on some black faux-fur tassles for decoration.

    That looks really good. I have been thinking about a Semi-Dress Sporran I have 2 day wear sporrans and a dress, sometimes you need the versatility of a Semi-Dress Sporran, good for you for doing it yourself.

    its arctic acrylabeast fur.

    yeah, i live near a whole lot of animal rights people who threaten to throw paint at me when i wear my rabbit fur one i wouldn't want my kilt ruined with paint.

    you could always threaten to throw paint back! and anyways, from a distance, they will not be able to tell that it isn't real fur.

    That looks great! I'm also new here and I was going to ask for any hints on making a semi-dress sporran myself, go figure. Did you have a pattern to start with or make it on the fly so to speak?

    i used some images of other semi-dress sporrans and created a template. a fair amount was trial and error.
