Highland Games - Lochearnhead, Arisaig, Peebles

Been looking at the Highland Games diary on

Some games I'd hope to attend:-
Harpenden Highland Games on Sunday 8th July where I will hopefully meet up with a few of our English members.

Lochearnhead Highland Games at Balquhidder, Saturday 21st July - Ann & I will be travelling to Spean Bridge for our annual week in Lochaber and will be passing through Balquhidder, so might stop in at the games for an hour or two.

Arisaig Highland Games - Wednesday 25th July - Arisaig, on the famous Road to the Isles is just an hour's drive from Spean Bridge so I'd hope to make it to this one.

Border Gathering - Thursday 9th till Sunday 12th August - Dumfries - I hope to attend one of the days, at the moment the Friday is looking the most likely.

World Pipe Band Championships - Saturday 11th August - Glasgow - pencilled in the diary - hope to get there.

Peebles Highland Games - Sunday 9th September - the second biggest highland games in the borders (after the Border Gathering in Dumfries) and one of the final games of the season - just 32 miles from home so I'd hope to make it along to that one, though it will depend on my duty rota at the aviation museum.

I'd welcome the opportunity of meeting up, if any other x-markers are going to any of these games.
