I completely agree. For me a trip to NY is nothing without at least one stop at Katz. (Corner of Houston and Ludlow)

Hey...last time I was there I was in a rented Volvo and driving wasn't a whole lot more pleasant.

You've got to be kidding me. I don't even like Denver. I think I would absolutely lose it in New York. There is stuff I'd like to see there, but to prepare myself I think I'd need a good solid week or two out on a mountainside somewhere to center first. And that would be for a one or two day visit.

Believe me, it's not as bad as you may think.

I grew up in Northern California (Sacramento Area) and lived in Lake Tahoe, and moved to Long Island almost 25 years ago. There is something about NYC that is just great. But if you go there looking for what's wrong with it, that's what you will find.

I feel sorry for you as a resident directly above NY it's like living in the top flat over a very raucous and loud party. Keep the noise down, down there, damn it! Some people are trying to sleep.

Never even been to NY. But, am quite the fan of corned beef AND reuben sandwhiches. I'd join you if I were there.

Worked in NYC for a year or so 1969-70. Mostly Lower East Side and the Bronx with offices on 34th St near Hell's Kitchen.

I can't remember the names of any of the deli's I ate at but I can still taste that great food!....no, not heartburn...euphoric recall of great chow.

    Go enjoy!
