I've come to the conclusion that I like what boots express when worn with a kilt. That's when the individual comes out instead of the copier. And it's so easy to make a mistake when copying. It's yours when it comes out your way.
Pics from my daughters wedding. On the left the groom is wearing what looks like clunky motocross boots with spikes, and a black utilikilt, the best man is wearing mid calf boots with knee high socks. Somehow this worked and kept it formal.
Grandson looks cute, doesn't he?

They can be found at zappos.com, along with a large selection of outstanding funky footgear. I like Zappos a lot, they have a huge selection and a no questions asked return policy.
