Legend of Bagger Vance

I just saw a piece of this movie this morning. It stars Will Smith and Matt Damon. In the scenes of the golf match, you regularly see a man who is kilted and wearing a balmoral. I didn't see enough of the movie to know if his character had any real significance or if he was just an official at the match.

This individual, as I recall was officiating the competition.

There was also a piper and a few other kilted gentlemen at the funeral for John Invergordon.
