1st photo of my son in a kilt

    Hi All,

We were at my cousin's wedding at the weekend,
here a photo of me and my son who'll be 2 next month.
It's the most formally dressed that I've been in my kilt for many years and the 1st time that my son has worn the kilt which was lent to us by a friend.

Normally I dress very casually when I wear my kilt and I'm afraid that I don't have any brouges so polished up my para-boots and wore a sporran that Tom Hay made for me, I also made a solid silver belt buckle for the occassion as I my normal one is brass and I couldn't bear the chrome plated ones.

He got chatting to a very nice girl piper
He enjoys listening to the pipes and was well behaved throughout the day.

    Rab,
Good to see a picture of you! Your son looks great, too.

That is a very fine belt buckle, indeed.
