We (okay, me) will bring this item up at the next Tipp Inn Kilt Night (July 11) and I am sure we can get a good sized group to come out and play! Any chance we can get a discount for large groups????
I don't work for the Gaylord, but for Lagniappe (AKA Lone Star Murder Mysteries). Check with the Gaylord reservation desk about group rates. I know that we also do private shows. Maybe a private show at the Tipp? Now, that would be fun.

That would be fun . . . you can contact Scott at the Tipp if you want to pursue that.
How long did you say that your show is running? I looked back through the thread and didn't see it.
Even if we can't get a group together for the show, meeting before / after for a beverage should be possible. (Especially if you could help with parking passes!!!)

ooooooooo, a murder-mystery at the Tipp!!!!!!!! ooooo, I like the sound of that!
Scott, are you listening?
mkmound, I think hallmarktex is doing the show until November. Correct me if I am wrong. It would be a great thing to meet at the Gaylord and have all the XMarkers pose for a pic in front of the seudo-Alamo.
(I MUST be a genius! )

Did you know that when they opened the Gaylord that was supposed to be the Alamo, but then the San Antonio tourist bureau got upset. The Gaylord folks added a bell tower on one end and now it is officially "mission" plaza in the Gaylord.
You learn the wildest things working in a place.

Welcome Mark from another DFW member.
Happen to be a church goer? First Baptist Midlothian by chance? I work for the Architectural firm that designed the recent addition.
Also June 1st, my wife and I were 8 floors above your head at the Gaylord with a lovely atrium balcony overlooking the mission. We were celebrating our 1 year wedding anniversary and ate dinner in the sports bar/grill.
If I'd known about the show, I would have tried talking the wife into it.

Welcome, Mark, from another X-Marker in your neck of the woods. Sort of. I'm north of DFW in Denton. I know the Gaylord (my wife and I shot a wedding there once - and, no, no one was kilted, not even me) and it would make an excellent place to meet, to be sure! That mystery-science-dinner-theatre-3000 sounds like great fun.
You mentioned that you were going to make the clark/clergy tartan your first acquisition; are you by chance a clergyman, then?
Looking forward to seeing you around the 'board!
