    AFI sean connery tribute

Here's an interesting tribute to Sean Connery by Mike Myers, his kilt is too short and his kilt pin is in a weird position...and he claims to be of Scottish descent. Where DO they get these wardrobe people?!? Anyway, it is a really nice tribute and even has a screen shot from Zardoz.

Very amusing and Sean Connery looks to be enjoying it too.

I almost choked on my haggis (honest) They were on offer in Tesco so I stocked up the freezer. I think they qualify as crude food. Freezing them does make the pepper fiercer though.

I'm not sure that the kilt is too short - it's just a bit short for standing on a stage in. It looks to be about the top of the kneecap. The camera was fairly high, but the people sitting lower and closer might have got the answer to the question even if they did not want to.

I think SC was quite moved at the end of the speech - just for a moment there.

He's still looking good for a man his age.

    Sigh.

I agree with Pleater. I don't think Mike's kilt was THAT far too short. The hose were a nice touch.

He looks good to me -- other than the location of his kilt pin. I imagine Sir Sean mentioned it to him, later.

His vest seemed a little too short to me. You could see his shirt, but it looks like he could wear a kilt that wears a bit higher.

A glowing tribute. Mr Meyers on Sir Connery brings me to a higher appreciation of our beloved early Bond.
I'm trying to think of a signal or some kind of purpose in having the pin placement as such. I gotta be right. It just can't be a malfunction!!
Go, have fun, don't work at, make it fun! Kilt them, for they know not, what they wear. Where am I now?

Top kneecap is perfectly fine, but it seems it's a hip hugger...the kilt is 2 short or has no traditional high rise. Hence the visible shirt.
