Sir Barclay the Flashless!
Am sure that Pete can remedy the situation.

Are you talking about me? I'll have you know a lassie was eyeing me up a week ago next August.

Closest, but they still do not do it justice. That tartan reached out and grabbed my eyeballs from about 40 feet away, in twilight. At the risk of repeating myself, it is drop-dead gorgeous; and to my untutored eye the craftsmanship of the kilts looks superb.
It's an unexpectedly difficult challenge for the little digi-cam. I wish I had taken a close-up, but here is Barclay's kilt from our group photo:

McMurdo,
Nice kilt and tartan. My day is coming - 15 weeks and 6 days counting.

That is a beautiful kilt! It looks dashing with a jacket.
Cheers

Well again thanks on the compliments I am very happy with the kilt. I just took some detail shots and thought I would share them with you

As someone who has become accustomed to 16oz wool kilts I have to say again that I am very impressed with this kilt, from the truly striking tartan, to the solid construction I am very well pleased indeed.

I mentioned this to Pete, but anyone else that may be interested, Marks Work Warehouse is selling the 2007 Rugby World cup Team Canada jerseys. They may go pretty well with those great looking Maple Leaf kilts. I am still sorry I couldn't take part in that order. I guess I will just have to look at the 4 yards of the 8 oz PV on the wall of the pub.
