time lag
i was on vacation for a week, and when i got back i noticed that the site had changed, they made me read the rules while a stop watch ticked away, replys sorta went into the great unknown, and quick feedback went the way of the dodo. anyone mind telling me what happened while i was on vacation?
inquiring minds want to know.

If you're used to Semper fi, you're doubtless also used to "Semper gumby."
New rule changes, new "tag" information. I'd run it differently . . . but then a) I don't run it, b) I'd probably just say I'd run it differently, and then not run it, and c) it's a small price to pay.

mr. cossack,
thanks for the update. its a terrible thing when the backbone goes limp.
but your right, its a small price to pay, lets just hope it doesn't become a large price to pay. i really do enjoy this site.

We recently tried to better define the rules and guidelines, and when we made those changes everyone (yes even the mods) was asked to sign off of them before they were able to reply to posts. This way everyone has acknowledged that they have seen the rules, read the rules, and agree to the rules. Different forums are run different ways, we just want a clear definition of how this one is run. It's a family friendly site that we want to keep enjoyable. There are a few other sites that offer a more adult approach and I know many of us are members on one or more of those sites. Each place ha sit's own approach.
Nothing malicious, we are just trying to keep it simple and on the level.

I guess I should have just simply said, we updated the rules and tried to clean them up, than we had everyone sign off on them....I cleared up my first response. I find I need the first cup of coffee more and more as it's too tempting to sleep in when the weather is nice
Mr.....geez, I'm going to start feeling old in a second. It's bad enough my kid's friends are calling me Mr. Wood...that's my dad, not me
