Mike first off enjoy the remaining time with your wife and family, then enjoy the experience of India to the fullest.
Keep busy on your assignment and hopefully the time will go by quickly for you.
Drop by here if and when you can.

Dude! It's gonna be rough, at parts, and at times, but it is going to be a BLAST. What a hoot. What an ADVENTURE! (Hey, not all adventures involve scimitars and tulwars, and hopefully this'n won't!)
Focus on the good, not the bad. I was in boot camp for six months with a broken leg----four months in India ain't nothing.
Focus on the good!

India
Probably 90% of all kilts on Earth come from Packistan or India. Look at the tailor shops while you are there.

Ummm...wondering if wearing a kilt around India would be like wearing a U.S. Cavalry replica uniform to tour a reservation....?
Hopefully you'll take a few and find they are, in fact, welcome when you're not on the job.
Sounds like a great addition to your re'sume'

Can you bring a kilt for wearing in the privacy of your own home? Even being kilted for a short while will keep your heart at rest.

It'll be rouhg being away from the ones you love, but you'll make it. And before you know it you'll be back with them and all appreciating each other that much more.
And you'll appreciate us more, too. :P
