June Belmont Kilt Night

It was a special night at The Devil's Canyon Brewing Company. We were able to welcome a new member, if not to X-Marks, at least to the kilted life style. Yay peer pressure!


You may have seen these two before, wearing the "Instakilt" together-Merry and Eric, collectively known as Merric. Eric is holding a sghian don't, promised and delivered by Panache upon proof of kilt purchase. These two spent most of the night burning up the dance floor. Sorry, no pictures, as I was also too busy dancing.




Apparently, captainjak and Eric are members of the same clan. Clan Nightstalker, a sept of Clan Stillwater.




There were many members of Clan Stillwater present last night.

Last, but definitely not least, we finally got to meet Rigged, who is also wearing (although not visible here) a Stillwater-Standard Black Stewart.

The kids came along, and have finally warmed up enough to play with the kilted rabble.

Here's Sinbad with Motormanforlife, playing a version of the shell game (Sinbad had little alien figures in his sporran which were engulfed in those large fists)



Xena got a turn with him as well



Although, she did keep asking about "the more funny man", i.e. TimC. She kept sneaking up behind him and trying to flip up his kilt. I swear, I do NOT encourage this (but it is hilarious!). Here we catch her having just made a pass.

Around 10:30, the kids pooped out



And we had to go home. Suprisingly enough, TimC and the Lovely Dameris had left hours before. Aren't newlyweds fun! We did not get a good picture of the two of them together, so I am hoping that the other participants will now chime in. We look forward to w2f and walkerk's contributions-I saw their cameras in action.

I don't know if you'd be interested at all, F-H.C.A.G, but my fiance is also of the long, red-haired persuasion and is a member of a community, www.longhaircommunity.com
Now, it's a bit of a rigmarole when you first join because they're careful to keep away scary hair pervs, but she swears by the place as one of the friendliest communities online and a great place to go if you have long hair.

Walkerk and Panache were delighted to finally meet Rigged.



A few of us staying for "just one more" were happy to meet AtagahiKC wearing his Rollo Ancient tartan and a fantastic, sparkling kilt pin. He showed us the reason for his late arrival: out of his sporran he pulled a spanking new Apple iPhone. Here we are before they booted us out: AtagahiKC, walkerk, Eric, and Rigged.
